Hackney
What we are working on in Hackney
- New cycling and walking improvements - we're working with the borough to develop proposals for new cycle routes on Seven Sisters Road through the Woodberry Down estate that will link to C50 in future
- New public transport - we're trialling a new bus route, 310, a direct bus service operating between Golders Green and Stamford Hill. Route 310 is going to run as a trial for 12 months. We will monitor passenger numbers and journey patterns plus feedback from the community and bus users to evaluate if it is a viable route that benefits the local community and that people use

Community-woven Weaver roundel at Hackney Downs
A new roundel at Hackney Downs London Overground station marks the naming of the Weaver line. Created in partnership with Chingford Community Hub and Cockpit, Londoners participated in free weaving sessions to contribute to the artwork. The roundel is now displayed above the stairs to the Weaver line platforms, celebrating the historical significance of weaving and textile industries in areas like Spitalfields Market, Bethnal Green, and Hackney.
Local Implementation Plan (LIP)
The LIP is produced by the London Borough of Hackney and agreed with us. It sets out the details on transport infrastructure changes in a three-year period to support the Mayor's Transport Strategy.
Vision Zero Dashboard: Helping you access collision data
The Vision Zero dashboard is a tool designed to help organisations and members of the public easily access and interpret collision data. By providing this data in a user-friendly format, the dashboard enables users to gain valuable insights into road safety issues in their borough.
