Ealing
What we are working on in Ealing
- Northolt LU station - in 2025 we plan to start works to deliver step-free access from street to platform level.
- Elizabeth line - the borough is benefitting from a package of works as part of the Crossrail Complementary Measures programme, including upgraded junctions, new wider footways and improved cycle facilities.
- Piccadilly line upgrade - We're modernising the Piccadilly Line in a £2.9bn investment programme to help the line run more reliably, safely, inclusively and sustainably. At Northfields depot we're building new facilities to maintain the new fleet of trains.
- Step-free access - Southall will be made step free in 2021.
- Liveable Neighbourhoods - we're investing £6.5m to help the council reduce traffic and encourage walking, cycling and the use of public transport in West Ealing. This includes links to the new Elizabeth line station.
