Oyster pay as you go credit no longer needed

Claim a refund in person

If your remaining credit is £10 or less, you can get a refund for the credit, and (where applicable) the deposit, from a Tube station ticket machine.

The deposit refund is only applicable to Oyster cards issued before February 2020. Cards issued after this date do not have a deposit and only the remaining credit will be refunded.

Your Oyster card will be cancelled when we process this refund.
